Hongshan Occupation Map

All Hongshan period occupied areas (all collection lots with identifiable Hongshan sherds) is provided as an AutoCAD (Release 12) .DXF file called HS.DXF. The .ZIP file called HS.ZIP contains ArcGIS .SHP files with the same information.

In the .DXF file, each collection unit that yielded Hongshan sherds is indicated by an AutoCAD closed polyline on the layer 1HS (color red) enclosing its complete area. The Hongshan surface sherd density (sherds per square meter) is attached to the polyine for each collection unit as its z-value (that is, its elevation).
