Survey Lot Map

The locational data for all the individual survey lots in the San Agustín-Isnos survey zone are provided as an AutoCAD (Release 12) .DXF file named LOTSMAP.DXF. The layers in this drawing, their colors, and the information contained on each are as follows:

• AREAS (Yellow): AutoCAD closed polylines, enclosing the areas represented by each of the individual collection lots.
• BOUNDARY (Red): A single AutoCAD closed polyline, delimiting the boundary of the survey zone.
• LOT_NUMBERS (Cyan): AutoCAD text strings giving the series and lot number designation for each lot, separated by an underscore. These text strings correspond to those in the variable "Key" in the survey lots dataset, and their insertion points are inside the polylines they correspond to, for AutoCAD or other programs capable of matching text strings to polylines in this way.
• SITE_NUMBERS (Magenta): AutoCAD text strings giving the site numbers to which groups of contiguous lots were assigned for convenience. These "site" units played no real role in the analysis.
• UNSURVEYED (White): AutoCAD closed polylines, enclosing areas that could not be surveyed because of vegetation cover or because owners did not grant permission.

This map has also been converted to MAGNA-SIRGAS Bogotá West zone (EPSG:3115) (see Table of Contents).

Note on corrected versions: The file LOTSMAP.DXF was replaced with a corrected version on Sept. 1, 2022. Three erroneous survey lot numbers were replaced with the correct numbers. The file LOTSMAPSIRGAS.DXF was also replaced with a corrected version on Sept. 1, 2022. In addition to the survey lot number corrections made in LOTSMAP.DXF, 17 minor positional errors were corrected. These positional errors were introduced by the conversion from the original coordinate system to MAGNA-SIRGAS and would only have potentially caused technical difficulty in file import since they caused survey lot areas to overlap and removed one number from its survey lot area.
