El Hatillo Household Dataset |
The data files FAUNA.TXT and FAUNA.XLS contain data on the quantities of fauna specimens recovered from each provenience during excavations of domestic units at El Hatillo. FAUNA.TXT is a comma delimited ASCII text file, which should be easy to import into spreadsheet, database, and statistical programs for manipulation and analysis. FAUNA.XLS contains the same data in the form of an Excel spreadsheet which is easier to browse, and can also be imported into many programs. Each line on the comma delimited file represents one provenience. There are 86 lines, each with 43 variables separated by commas. The variables are, in the following order:
