Locations of Platforms

The remains of several ceremonial platforms occurred within and adjacent to the Hongshan residential zones studied. Since they are so few in number, the coordinates of their point locations are provided in numeric form. PLAT.TXT is a comma-delimited ASCII text file, which should be easy to import into many programs. PLAT.XLS contains the same data in the form of an Excel spreadsheet which is easier to browse, and can also be imported into many programs. Each line represents one platform. There are 5 lines, each with 3 variables separated by commas. The variables are, in the following order:

1 The residential zone in which the platform is located.
2 The X-coordinate (UTM Easting) in meters of the platform location.
3 The Y-coordinate (UTM Northing) in meters of the platform location.

The first line of the ASCII text file, for example, looks like this:

Dongshanzui,734167,4555944

This means that the platform is in the Dongshanzui residential zone at 734167E,4555944N.

The last, or 5th line of the ASCII text file is:

Erbuchi,737228,4560353

This means that the platform is in the Erbuchi residential zone at 737228E,4560353N.
