La Cañaza Occupation

Detailed data are provided for all the collection lots in which La Cañaza ceramics were recovered, together with the average residential density during the La Cañaza phase for all those collection lots (as estimated using the method discussed in Chapter 2 of the corresponding dissertation). The basic data map is provided in vector format and two raster formats.

In vector format, there is an AutoCAD (Release 12) .DXF file called LACANAZA.DXF. Each collection lot that yielded La Cañaza sherds is indicated by an AutoCAD closed polyline on the layer LOTS (color Cyan) enclosing its complete area. The estimated residential density (average value, in people/ha) for the La Cañaza phase is attached to the polyline for each collection lot as its z-value (that is, its elevation). Click here to download the file LACANAZA.DXF (409 KB).

In raster format, cell values are estimated residential densities (average values, in people/ha) for the La Cañaza phase. The Idrisi layers are in LACANAZA-IDRISI.ZIP (a compressed file that contains LACANAZA.RDC and LACANAZA.RST). Click here to download the file LACANAZA-IDRISI.ZIP (17 KB). The GeoTIFF format is in LACANAZA-GEOTIFF.ZIP (a compressed file that contains LACANAZA.TFW and LACANAZA.TIF). Click here to download the file LACANAZA-GEOTIFF.ZIP (13 KB).
