Lower Dover Community Dataset
The data files OBSIDIANLITHICS.CSV and OBSIDIANLITHICS.XLSX provide information on location, appearance, and frequency for all obsidian tools recovered from excavated lots. OBSIDIANLITHICS.CSV is a comma delimited ASCII text file; OBSIDIANLITHICS.XLSX contains the same data in the form of an Excel spreadsheet.

Each line in the .CSV file represents an obsidian artifact type by color. There are 119 lines, each with 5 variables separated by commas. The variables are listed in the following order:

The first line of the .CSV file, for example, looks like this:
BR180-1-1,blade,transparent,1,
This means that the obsidian was excavated from BR180-1-1. It is a blade that is transparent, with a frequency of 1. There are no notes associated with this record.
