Survey Collection Units

The location and extent of all artifact collection units registered during the Fuxin survey is provided as an AutoCAD (Release 12) .DXF file called SURVCOLLECTIONS.DXF. The layers in this drawing, their colors, and the information contained on each are as follows:

• COLLECTIONS_ALL_PERIODS (white): AutoCAD closed polylines enclosing the areas that represent the extents of each individual survey collection unit.
• LABELS (green): AutoCAD text strings that provide the designated number of each collection unit. Please refer to the Field Methods document for an explanations of unit naming conventions. The insertion point of each text string is inside the polylines it corresponds to, for AutoCAD or other programs capable of matching text strings to polylines in this way.
