Location of domestic structures
A map showing the location of all domestic structures is provided as an AutoCAD file (release 12) called DOMESTICMAP.DXF. The file contains the following layers:
- DOMESTIC (red): Closed AutoCAD polylines delineating all Late Terminal Classic domestic platforms.
- DOMESTIC_NLTC (dark red): Closed AutoCAD polylines delineating all Non-Late Terminal Classic domestic platforms.
- DOMESTIC_ALTARS (orange): Closed AutoCAD polylines delineating all Late Terminal Classic domestic altars.
- DOMESTIC_ENCLOSURES (magenta): Closed AutoCAD polylines delineating all Late Terminal Classic domestic enclosures.
- DOMESTIC_RANGES (pink): Closed AutoCAD polylines delineating all Late Terminal Classic domestic ranges.
- DOMESTIC_RP (salmon): AutoCAD block insertions marking the location of all Late Terminal Classic domestic rubble piles.
- DOMESTIC_RP_ NLTC (dark red): AutoCAD block insertions marking the location of all Non-Late Terminal Classic domestic rubble piles.
- DOMESTIC_RS (fuchsia): AutoCAD block insertions marking the location of all Late Terminal Classic domestic rubble-sherd scatters.
- DOMESTIC_ID (salmon): AutoCAD text strings that provide the unique ID for each domestic platform (including sub-dwellings, small, and extra small platforms), as well as for domestic altars, enclosures, and ranges. These text strings correspond to the structure ID (variable 4) provided in the domestic structure information page of this dataset. Their insertion points are inside the polylines they correspond to, for AutoCAD or other programs capable of matching text strings to polylines in this way.
- DOMESTIC_RP_ID (red): AutoCAD text strings that provide the unique ID for all domestic rubble piles (both Late Terminal and Non-Late Terminal). These text strings correspond to the structure ID (variable 4) provided in the domestic structure information page of this dataset. Their insertion points are inside the blocks they correspond to, for AutoCAD or other programs capable of matching text strings to polylines in this way.
- DOMESTIC_RS_ID (fuchsia): AutoCAD text strings that provide the unique ID for each rubble-sherd scatter. These text strings correspond to the structure ID (variable 4) provided in the domestic structure information page of this dataset. Their insertion points are inside the blocks they correspond to, for AutoCAD or other programs capable of matching text strings to polylines in this way.
