Vegetation Map

VEG.DXF is a map of the three major vegetation zones present in the Quijos survey area. The vegetation zones are delimited as AutoCAD closed polylines, each on a separate layer. AutoCAD drawing units are meters. The layers and their contents are:

• BMHPM (blue) -- Very humid pre-montane forest
• BMHMB (green) -- Very humid low montane forest
• BMHPM-BMHMB (red) -- Very humid pre-montane forest - Very humid low montane forest

The same information is also provided in ArcGIS .SHP format in the file VEG.ZIP (69 KB), which uses the UTM Zone 18S (units are meters) coordinate system based on the WGS84 datum.
