Geological Map

GEOL.DXF is a geological map showing the great landscapes of the Quijos survey area. The great landscapes are indicated as closed AutoCAD closed polylines, with each great landscape on a separate layer. AutoCAD drawing units are meters. The layers and their contents are as follows:

• 2 (green) -- Great landscape 2: medium and low flanks of the Cordillera Oriental
• 3 (blue) -- Great landscape 3: Quijos River canyon
• 4 (red) -- Great landscape 4: Cosanga corridor
• 5 (magenta) -- Great landscape 5: Depositional environment
• 6 (cyan) -- Great landscape 6: Denudative environment

The same information is also provided in ArcGIS .SHP format in the file GEOL.ZIP (77 KB), which uses the UTM Zone 18S (units are meters) coordinate system based on the WGS84 datum.
